The protection of your personal data is important to us. According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are obliged to inform you about the purpose for which our practice collects, stores or forwards data. The information also tells you what rights you have in terms of data protection.

1. Accountability for Data Processing

2. Purpose of data processing

The data is processed on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfill the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.

For this purpose we process your personal data, in particular your health data. This includes anamnesis, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists who are treating you can also provide us with data (e.g. in doctor's letters).

The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot take place.

3. Recipients of your data

We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.

Recipients of your personal data can be other doctors / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of health insurance, medical associations and private medical clearing houses.

The transmission takes place mainly for the purpose of billing the services provided to you, to clarify medical questions and questions arising from your insurance relationship. In individual cases, data is transmitted to other authorized recipients.

4. Storage of your data

We only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to carry out the treatment.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after completion of the treatment. According to other regulations, there may be longer retention periods, for example 30 years for X-ray recordings according to Section 28 Paragraph 3 of the X-ray Ordinance.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request the correction of incorrect data.

In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to have data deleted, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability.

Your data is processed on the basis of legal regulations. We only need your consent in exceptional cases. In these cases, you have the right to withdraw consent for future processing.

You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that your personal data is not being processed lawfully.

6. Legal bases

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 9 Paragraph 2 lit. h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22 Paragraph 1 No. 1 lit. b) Federal Data Protection Act. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

7. Miscellaneous

If there is an opportunity to enter personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses) within the website (e.g. in the guest book), the user divulges this data on an expressly voluntary basis. You should think twice about this, as this can also have disadvantages for you. In the guest book you have the opportunity to express your opinion on the homepage. Suggestions of any kind are welcome. Criticism is just as welcome as praise. The search for other affected persons is permitted. Insults and disparagements of any kind and regardless of who they are, will be deleted. Entries that, in my opinion, are suitable for harming the person concerned will also be deleted. In my view, this is the case, for example, when someone makes personal problems public that, according to common sense, could embarrass them or cause other people who know the person to develop prejudices. This is perceived by some as censorship and is a subjective choice. Expressions of praise regarding my work in the practice, or names of patients in the practice, are generally deleted from the guest book. Confidentiality also applies to e-mails. The use of the contact data published in the imprint or comparable information such as postal address, telephone and fax numbers and email addresses by third parties to send information that has not been expressly requested is not permitted. For contacts who have a real concern regarding the homepage, please use the appropriate e-mail form. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails in the event of violations of this prohibition. If you have received spam mailings from senders who misused my domain, I assure you that these e-mails were definitely not sent by me or my server. I do not send spam emails. The addresses are often fake and composed of seemingly random names and an existing domain name (mine in this case). My computers with internet access are all backed up by several continuously updated anti-virus programs and firewalls. So far, as far as I know, no viruses have been sent from my PCs. As far as possible, I try to prevent this in the future. All e-mails - incoming and outgoing - are checked for viruses and spam and affected e-mails are completely discarded. The sender will only be informed if I assume that he himself is the victim of a computer virus. Streb are confidential and will be processed in the practice system in accordance with medical confidentiality. All other data will be deleted immediately after the correspondence has been processed or answered.
